If you are looking to turn a bad day around in under two minutes, you might be able to do just that when you use the new app released by Odyssey Networks. ‘Call on Faith’ has just been launched by Odyssey Networks and is the first all-video digital source of content that literally puts dynamic inspiration in the palm of your hand wherever you are, whenever you need it.

The new app was produced in partnership with GoTV Networks, which is one of the mobile media industry's largest networks. The app is now being made available on the iPhone, Blackberry and Android (News - Alert) phones, and also on the iPad and iTouch. It is currently set to deliver 80 original two-minute videos on 14 different channels every month for a one-time download charge of $.99.

Odyssey has programmed six of the app's channels. Odyssey is the country’s largest multi-faith coalition dedicated to producing media that enriches spiritual life, and promotes understanding among people of diverse beliefs and perspectives. The content will include inspirational insights, advice on better living, personal stories of faith and compassion, and prayers and reflections from the world's great faith traditions.

This month's videos feature spiritual leaders Arthur Caliandro, Richard Cizik, Rabbi Ted Falcon, and Imam Johari Abdul-Malik, authors Philip Yancey and Eliza Griswold, life coaches Iyanla Vanzant, Joan Borysenko, Mimi Doe, and entertainers William Lee Golden of the Oak Ridge Boys, and country music star Julie Roberts.

The other additional Call on Faith channels are being programmed by seven of Odyssey's member organizations which are:  the United Church of Christ, First Radio Parish Church of America ("Daily Devotions" with Peter Panagore), Chicago Sunday Evening Club ("A Few Good Minutes"), Seventh-day Adventist Church ("Mad about Marriage" and "Voice of Prophecy"), the Episcopal Church, Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasters, and Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers. These member channels will also deliver spiritual inspiration, personal stories and guidance from unique faith perspectives, appealing to a wide range of spiritual seekers.
