Belkin India, a supplier of interconnectivity solutions across computing and consumer electronic devices, has launched the YourType Bluetooth keyboard, available in two different variants for the Android (News - Alert) Tablets and Apple iPads.

“It gives us immense joy to innovate products that are inspired by the needs of our consumers,” said Mohit Anand, managing director of Belkin India Sub-Continent. “Belkin strongly believes in creating technology solutions that add great value without altering the technology lifestyle of its users.”

According to company officials, the Bluetooth keyboard is designed with comfortable well-spaced keys and a spring mechanism underneath each key that ensures a quick, tactile response with every stroke.

The device features an integrated stand that props the iPad/tablet up to the perfect viewing angle. It allows 60 hours of active use and comes with a 2,000 hour standby battery life.

Belkin India also recently announced the launch of the Screencast AV 4, a device allowing the users to connect their Audio Video equipment to their HDTV without the hassle of hiding the clutter of unsightly cables. The Screencast AV 4 lets users enjoy full HD 1080p resolution and Dolby 5.1 surround sound through their Audio Video equipment wirelessly.

The Screencast AV 4, according to company officials, connects up to four pieces of Audio Video equipment, including a Blu-ray player, DVR, gaming console and cable box. The Screencast AV 4’s transmitter transmits signals to the receiver, which connects to the HDTV, allowing seamless access to all Audio Video equipment without a mess of wires.

Ideal for wall-mounted HDTVs; the Belkin Screencast AV 4 gives users total device control. The IR Blaster is specifically designed to facilitate the convenience of having to only point the AV equipment remote at the HDTV while the screencast does the rest.

The screencast uses the 5 GHz spectrum to minimize interference and provide superior video and audio quality. This lets users store the Audio Video equipment in another room up to 30 feet away or within 100 feet in line-of-sight.
