JBL Professional provides three complete lines of enclosed cinema loudspeaker systems, along with discreet components and electronics, to cater to the requirements of any cinema application; from the smallest rooms to the most exotic custom installations, renovations and retrofits. According to the company, no other manufacturer offers a wider, more cost-effective range of solutions to meet the demands of modern cinema sound reproduction than JBL Professional.
Recently, the company introduced three state-of-the-art JBL soundbars that introduce surround-sound performance to flat-panel TVs starting from 32 inches to more than 46 inches.
Because of its proprietary signal processing software that simulates a surround-sound environment, the JBL Cinema SB 100, SB 200 and SB 400 provide advanced audio for movies, gaming and music. This makes viewers feel as if they were in the middle of the action. Also, whether the soundbar is wall-mounted or placed on a table, an equalization switch optimizes audio performance, the company stated in a press release.
“When it comes to delivering excellent audio, today’s HDTV built-in speakers are woefully lacking. The JBL Cinema soundbars deliver audio technologies for a theater-like experience so consumers can enjoy tremendous sound with a beautiful picture,” said Sachin Lawande, executive vice president of HARMAN and co-president of HARMAN Lifestyle and Infotainment. “JBL speakers played a pioneering role in developing sound systems for movie houses, and we continue to create award-winning professional systems.”
Recently, the company introduced three new, ultra-portable JBL speakers created for superior on-the-go music enjoyment from a smartphone or tablet. Working with virtually any music-playing gadget, including the Apple iPad, iPhone or iPod touch as well as Android smartphones or tablets and BlackBerry (News - Alert) or Windows Mobile phones, the three ultra-portable JBL speakers are priced from $39 to $99. The JBL Flip (right), JBL Micro Wireless and JBL Micro II – easily fit into a backpack or back pocket.
