IMX, Bitzio Inc., to Jointly Develop Mobile Game Based on IMX Content

IMX, the joint-venture between EBX Groupand IMG Worldwide, is considered to be the main sports and entertainment company in South America. No wonder then that Bitzio Inc., partnered with it to jointly develop a mobile game based on IMX content.

"IMX as a partner is an ideal fit for our fan-based community marketing and monetization strategy,” noted Jorge Reis, chief operating officer at IMX Digital.

Through IMX Talent, the company seeks to professionalize the management of the image and career of great talent, offering a tailor-made and personalized vision for the image and career planning of each client.

IMX, through IMX Talent, represents several major international sports and celebrity brands and manages the image and careers of some of the greatest icons in sports and entertainment. This is the “icing on the cake” for Bitzio Inc., the well known mobile media and app company for its   Bitzio Engine, is capable of capturing valuable user data and driving increased user monetization.

Through a non-exclusive mobile game rights agreement, both the companies will pit their expertise and skills to develop mobile apps around legendary sports figures. This will be a treat for sports aficionados.

“Our new partnership launches with the addition of another license with a high profile international sports star to the growing number of licenses that Bitzio is currently developing games for," said Peter Henricsson, president and CEO at Bitzio.

After previewing Bitzio's upcoming NFL Players trivia app and considering the company’s capabilities, Jorge Reis, chief operating officer of IMX Digital, was confident that Bitzio was the perfect partner as IMX sought to engage its client‘s fan base through new and innovative ways.

The game is slated for release in the first quarter of 2013 for the iOS, Windows and Android (News - Alert) platforms.

Recently, Bitzio, Inc., well known for its apps, mobile media and behavioral analytics, announced the closing of its acquisition of German mobile gaming and software company, ACT Smartware
