CEVA to Exhibit Platform IPs at Upcoming Event

CEVA, Inc. (News - Alert) will be exhibiting its array of wide-ranging platform IPs at an upcoming event, which is scheduled to be held between 8th Jan to 11th Jan 2013 in Las Vegas. The platform IPs from CEVA, comprising of the maiden silicon-based deployments of Wi-Fi 802.11ac and satellite navigation or GNSS on the CEVA-XC323 DSP, are ideal for the mobile, digital home and automotive markets.

CEVA will be showcasing all-inclusive offerings for sophisticated imaging and vision processing, natural user interface, audio improvement, voice pre-processing, software-based Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GNSS and Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy technology. Invitees will be able to acquaint with the CEVA engineering professionals and members of the CEVA executive team at a private meeting planned.

The company and its associates will showcase the most recent applications developed for sophisticated imaging and vision processing. These will include highly developed touch-free user interface, video stabilization, DRC, color improvement and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, or ADAS, technologies. A wide assortment of audio and video applications, like voice pre-processing and audio post-processing, will also be showcased by CEVA and its associates.

CEVA is a major licensor of silicon intellectual property, or SIP DSP, cores and platform solutions. These solutions are ideal for the mobile, moveable and consumer electronics markets. All-inclusive technologies for cellular baseband including 2G, 3G and 4G; multimedia including computer vision, image improvements and HD audio; voice over packet or VoP; Bluetooth, Serial Attached SCSI or SAS (News - Alert); and Serial ATA or SATA are included in the comprehensive IP offerings from CEVA.

IP from CEVA shipped a minimum of one billion devices and power handsets from all major handset OEMs like Nokia, Samsung, HTC, LG, Motorola, Sony, Huawei (News - Alert) and ZTE in 2011. Currently, a DSP core from CEVA powers a minimum of 40 percent handsets that are shipped across the globe.
