As Microsoft (News - Alert) released Windows 8 in October this year, other companies are developing products that reportedly enhance the Windows 8 experience. The latest one to offer such product is Lenovo (News - Alert), which has unveiled ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch, optimized for Windows 8.
ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch also comes with a touchscreen.
The Ultrabook uses superior grade carbon fiber to provide extreme durability. The new X1 Carbon Touch is ideal for mobile professionals looking for the simplicity of touch gesture control in their ultrabooks, the company has stated.
The 14 inch HD+ display allows users to put all their 10 fingers on a large multi-gesture glass touchpad to enhance their Windows 8 experience. According to Lenovo, this is the world’s lightest 14” touch notebook and is equipped with Intel (News - Alert) Core i5 and i7 processors.
Connoisseurs of sound can take solace in the fact that the Ultrabook is equipped with Dolby Home Theater v4.

The X1 Carbon Touch is the Ultrabook to beat.”
Recently, the company announced the first server from the newly formed Enterprise Product Group. This group deals in servers, storage, networking and software. Based on Intel’s Xeon E5-2400 processors, The ThinkServer TD330 is a tower server. Starting at $929, the server will support up to 16 processor cores.
Recently, the company also announced the formation of the Enterprise Product Group. This group is headed by Roy Guillen, vice president and general manager of the division.
