Samsung (News - Alert) Techwin America has signed a strategic sales channel partnership agreement with Carter Brothers, a company specializing in electronic security, life safety and fire alarm systems.

The partnership will allow Samsung Techwin America, a global provider of video surveillance and security solutions, to leverage Carter Brother’s experience in the Federal Government space and expand its reach in this lucrative market.

The strategic partnership is a part of the company’s new Samsung Certified IP Partner Program (SCIP).

Carter Brothers, on the other hand, will benefit from its affiliation with Samsung brand. The partnership will allow Carter Brothers to utilize Samsung’s industry-leading resources to enhance its expertise in IP video and security solutions technologies.

Carter Brothers has a prominent presence especially in the banking, communications,

healthcare, hospitality, multimedia and commercial sectors. The company has more than 35 offices across the country. Through these strategically-located facilities, the company delivers project management and installation services to its clients.

The company is also a member of the NMSDC (National Minority Supplier Development Council), which matches minority-owned businesses with member corporations that want to partner with or purchase goods and services.

“It is our pleasure to welcome Carter Brothers as a strategic partner. We look forward to

working with them and utilizing our industry-leading product solutions and services to help drive their continued growth and success,” said Frank De Fina, Samsung’s senior vice president of Sales and Marketing, North America.

“We are excited about our affiliation with Samsung and the opportunities it will present. Their industry-leading resources and scale will help support our continued drive to provide award-winning expertise,” president and CEO at Carter Brothers, John Carter, explained in a statement.

Earlier this week, Samsung said its operating profit for the October-December quarter would be about $8.3 billion – up 89 percent from a year earlier and higher than expectations.

It will release its full quarterly result including net profit at the end of this month.
