NCI, a provider of information technology and professional services and solutions to U.S. Federal Government agencies, gained a $19.8 million competitive contract to provide a variety of IT services.
According to this contract, NCI will be providing program and project management, technology planning and forecasting, policy and process development, enterprise laboratory activity management, and enterprise architecture artifact development in support of the United States Army Information Technology Agency (USAITA), Office of the Chief Technology Officer.
“NCI is delighted to have been awarded this key strategic contract supporting USAITA, Office of the CTO, and its tradition of leading flexible customer-centric IT modernization efforts and delivering an unparalleled customer experience to USAITA customers and mission partners,” Brian Clark, president at NCI said in a statement.
As indicated, this award represents new work for NCI and has a period of performance that includes a base year and two option years, as well as a six-month extension option and transition activities.
Under the terms of the contract, NCI will support the achievement of goals and objectives set out in USAITA’s strategic plan. Depending on changing requirements within the period of performance related to mission growth within USAITA CTO and its collaborative efforts with the Intelligence Community, the award also provides for certain surge requirements to be met as necessary.
NCI claims that its capabilities are centered on helping its customers overcome challenges to carry out their critical missions and meet their objectives. The company works with a goal to identify services and solutions that enable its customers to fulfill essential mission requirements at costs that are within budgetary expectations. Recently, NCI gained a $158.31federal contract by the U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen (News - Alert) Proving Ground, Md., for fielding and integrated logistic support services for the Program Executive Office Soldier.
