Deltek Costpoint Selected by ARINC

Deltek, Inc., a provider of enterprise software and information solutions for government contractors and professional services firms, recently announced that its new Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Deltek Costpoint MES has been selected by A&D contractor ARINC (News - Alert). The solution will be used in ARINC’s aircraft MRO operations to improve the efficiency and profitability.

Deltek Costpoint is an enterprise software solution for government contractors and other project-driven organizations. More than 1,000 professional services firms, project manufacturers, research and development firms, grant-based not-for-profits, and energy services firms use Deltek Costpoint to improve their operational efficiency and profitability, and meet the strict compliance and audit requirements of their customers as well as government auditors such as the DCAA.

Time, materials, overhead, and other expenses in Deltek Costpoint are tracked at the project, organization, and account level. Deltek Costpoint automatically applies the invoicing, accounting, and procurement rules to each transaction, based on its associated project. Deltek’s customers can then produce, in a matter of minutes or hours, the invoices, project status reports, procurement requests, and consolidated financial statements that it would take weeks or months to produce using other ERP environments.
