With the newly upgraded energy management application platform available from EnerNOC, commercial, institutional and industrial customers around the globe can realize actionable business intelligence and energy data analytics. The latest version of the energy management platform supposedly provides the tools to drive insights that improve productivity and occupant comfort, while reducing operating expenses.

EnerNOC reportedly it invested millions of dollars to develop energy management applications that have already helped thousands of commercial, institutional, and industrial customers put millions of dollars back into their pockets. The company’s objective is to enable its customers to make intelligent energy decisions.

Its new upgraded platform is stated to be available with an enhanced EnerNOC’s Automated Fault Detection (AFD) engine, which is used by its EfficiencySMART application to identify energy efficiency measures.

Hugh Scandrett, EnerNOC’s vice president of engineering commented, “The enhancements we’ve made in our latest release enable EnerNOC and our customers to find energy efficiency opportunities faster and compare energy usage across sites using more robust benchmarks and measurements. We’ve also introduced a number of features that support our international expansion, which will be instrumental as EnerNOC continues to capitalize on emerging market opportunities.”

The energy management platform is capable of retrieving and analyzing customers’ energy data, market data, weather forecasts, and other information and transforming that into actionable intelligence. Its technology, which is based on secure protocols and open standards that are the foundation of the developing smart grid, can supposedly deliver advanced energy data transfer and equipment control in even the most remote locations.

EnerNOC is demonstrating the latest release of its energy management platform at the EnergySMART 2012 conference being at the Westin Copley Hotel in Boston, MA.

In related news, EnerNOC recently appointed Thomas Birmingham as director of regulatory compliance and set new high for Demand Response Dispatches.
