2012 was good for the SEC (News - Alert) (Sydney Electrical Communications) Group, as it managed to acquire several high-profile clients, including McDonalds and the Urban Group.

These clients were acquired from a number of diverse industries, according to the company, which achieved its expansion goal last year and retained its focus on helping its clients deliver high-quality customer service and reducing operating costs.

The Sydney Electrical Communications (SEC) Group serves residential and commercial clients with its team of highly qualified electricians and contractors.

The Group achieved its goal by leveraging new POS technology and energy-efficient lighting solutions to serve its clients.

For its McDonald’s project, the SEC Group deployed equipment designed to generate a sales receipt at the first station where customers can place their order and pay for their food.

Customers receive their food when they take a ticket to the second counter, letting McDonald’s employees serve their customers in a more streamlined manner.

SEC Group collaborated with IT and AV technology services provider, Innovateq, for this Dual Point project for McDonald.

“By integrating Dual Point into their existing system, the McDonalds restaurants will be more efficient, speed up service delivery and ensure the correct orders are delivered to the right customer,” said Andrew Khoury, director of SEC Group. “It's a cost-effective solution that will make the experience of dining at the restaurant a more positive one with faster and more accurate service.”

SEC is installing energy-efficient lights such as LED down lights and florescent tubes for the Urban Group.

“We are proud to be able use our industry leading skills to update premises with energy efficient lights and other cost saving solutions,” added Khoury.

McDonalds has also decided to install DNA intruder spray security systems in its food joints.
