There has been a steady increase in the number of people who are basing their decision on buying manufactured homes on energy efficiency and green living options provided in their homes. To sustain this awareness, the Hallmark-Southwest Corporation has decided to offer a Net-Zero energy efficiency option capable of providing environmentally sustainable energy production for the buyers of their homes.

Along with solar photovoltaic systems, Hallmark-Southwest also provides Net-Zero energy efficiency for its consumers through a wide range of features some of which include, proprietary ventilation systems, efficient heating and cooling systems, solar hot water systems, industry leading insulation, exceedingly tight construction to maximize thermal efficiency, programmable thermostats, vinyl Low-e energy efficient windows, tank-less water heaters, energy efficient lighting, and on-demand hot water.

Buyers who are keen on incorporating the company’s Net-Zero energy efficiency options can download a free Net-Zero energy efficiency guide directly from the company website. The free energy efficiency guide provides a detailed explanation of the various benefits of the system.

In a release, Luca Brammer, Director of Business Development for Hallmark-Southwest Corporation said that "Hallmark-Southwest is already known as an energy efficient builder but the Net-Zero Solar Home option we now offer sets us far apart from those within our industry and typical stick built developments as well.”

Brammer added that "Any builder can say their home is "Net-Zero" by placing an excessive amount of solar panels on their roof, but this is not the most efficient way of making a home Net-Zero energy efficient. At Hallmark, we make our homes extremely energy efficient through the use of proprietary elements, drastically reducing each home's electrical demands without altering the lifestyles of the people who live in our homes. We then use the minimum amount of solar panels to accomplish Net-Zero efficiency.”

Established in 1976 by craftsmen in the home building industry, the Hallmark-Southwest Corporation is an employee-owned company. Hallmark-Southwest provides a wide range of manufactured home models which promise both quality of construction and energy efficiency in homes. The Hallmark-Southwest Corporation’s motto, "Craftsmanship Lives," is the driving force behind its success.
