Consumer Cellular announced a partnership with the National Parks Conservation Association by launching a paperless cell phone billing campaign. Consumer Cellular is a national provider of wireless phones and services.
The National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) represents the ideals of the American people in protecting and enhancing the National Park System. NPCA with 600,000 members and supporters, and other partners synergize their efforts to protect the National Park System to preserve natural, historical, and the cultural heritage of the United States.
According to officials Consumer Cellular expects to implement a paperless cell phone billing campaign. This campaign will directly support the NPCA’s mission in protecting and improving America’s national parks.
In a release Tom Kiernan, president of the NPCA said, “Consumer Cellular truly embraces sustainable business practices.”
“We are pleased to work with a company that has a proven commitment to the environment and we are grateful for their pledge to support America’s national parks,” Kierman added.
As part of the campaign, Consumer Cellular will be donating $5 to the NPCA as and when a new and existing customer enrolls in its paperless billing program. The amount is expected to add up enabling Consumer Cellular to donate up to $150,000 to the NPCA.
