Flux Power Holdings, Inc. recently introduced a new technology solution that can effectively optimize the lifecycle of advanced energy storage systems. The technology not only enhances the lifecycle but also improves the amount of usable energy available and helps in lowering the charging times for wind, solar, back-up power and EV (electric vehicle) applications.
In a statement, Paulus Geantil, Flux Power's director of engineering and the inventor of this technology, said, "The market and our customers consistently request more granularity of information on the storage demands of their specific applications to maximize the efficiency of their advanced storage system applications. Our new technology will deliver that functionality to them and sets our advanced energy storage systems well ahead of anyone else in the market today."
The need for more robust management platforms for advanced range of energy storage systems has increased in the last few years. The new technology offering from Flux Power has thus been designed not only to respond to inconsistent voltage conditions, but also to intuitively manage every single cell by allowing for accelerated balancing and charging. Because the technology can quickly identify and adapt to changes in each cell’s life cycle by comparing information, the total usable energy available within any storage system increases.
Chris Anthony, CEO of Flux Power, said, "This is a key addition to our core technology as it provides our customers with one of the most robust advanced energy storage solutions available on the market today. We are working hard to incorporate this technology into all of our future product releases in order to provide our customers with the critical data they have been requesting."
The new technology offering from Flux Power has been developed to be application agnostic and will provide customers with real cell degradation data, which in turn will help them in optimizing advanced energy storage systems effectively.
