JouleX will be attending Cisco (News - Alert) Live London 2013 and has published its schedule of intended activities. The event will be held at the ICC London ExCel from January 28 to February 1.
JouleX’s successful EnergyWise offering is a component of the Cisco EnergyWise Fast-Start program.
JouleX for EnergyWise offering will be demonstrated as a unit of the complete JouleX Energy Manager platform at Cisco Live. The firm’s Energy Manager (JEM) platform will also offer instantaneous tracking of the complete Cisco Live network, resulting in the showcase of JouleX across the Cisco Live World of Solutions.
At Cisco Live, JouleX will be recognized as featured associates, along with several other participating vendors.
In a statement, Josef Brunner, cofounder and chief architect at JouleX said, "Managing energy waste and costs is becoming an increasing priority to companies and with that our customer base continues to grow substantially with an increasing number of highly regarded global brands signing on each month. Cisco Live London provides us with an exceptional international environment to share results other companies are experiencing with our JouleX for EnergyWise solution. Giving attendees the ability to see our technology at work and interact with the latest innovative features and functions first hand is a powerful benefit."
At Cisco Live London 2012, the JouleX Energy Manager platform was utilized to track and report on the energy usage of the complete Cisco network. The actual energy utilization of the complete network was shown to participants on huge screens situated in the Cisco Network Operations Center; the Cisco EnergyWise booth, and in the organization’s stand.
This year at Cisco Live, JouleX will also track the event’s network, offering a peek into the actual usage of energy in IT operations to participants.
The Cisco EnergyWise architecture is advantageously utilized by JouleX for expanding energy tracking and administration of the complete network, right from core to the edge. Sophisticated Cisco features like deep-sleep VoIP function, power leveling and capping for the Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) are supported by JouleX.
Each and every Cisco EnergyWise-enabled device and system can also be tracked, analyzed and managed by JouleX without any client-side agents or hardware meters.
