Codima Inc., a global provider of integrated network management software products and electronics recycling, has unveiled its new division Codima (News - Alert) Green which offers a full service pick-up and recycling option, facilitating e-waste disposal.
The new division, according to company officials, will contribute significantly to revenue growth through the capture of precious metals refining.
Also the company said that through this launch, it is now expanding its operations further and will now offer full recycling services for the growing pile of end-of-life telecom equipment and other e-waste to new commercial clients and existing customers in North America.
"We project that our clients have millions of dollars of electronic scrap and e-waste and Codima Green offers an opportunity to them to dispose their e-waste cost effectively and safely," Christer Mattsson (News - Alert), chief executive officer at Codima said.
Codima Green allows customers using Codima's IT inventory software to identify malfunctioning and outdated hardware, as well as other clients to increase environmental responsibility.
By utilizing the recycling service, the company believes that clients can now help keep non-working equipment out of the world's landfills and at the same time also recover some of their valuable hardware investment.
