ON24 Virtual Show provides attractive and interactive virtual trade show and virtual event solutions for applications ranging from sales enablement to customer communications to demand generation. Recently, the company announced ON24 MOVE, a considerable improvement of its mobile product strategy with virtual environments. According to the company, these new features are optimized for viewing on mobile devices such as iPads and mobile phones. While mobile phones provide a content-focused compact view, tablets now offer an HTML5-based immersive 3D virtual environment.

An important new feature is the implementation of "device-aware" support for viewing virtual environments on tablet devices. One example of an ON24 customer using mobile access is Eli Lilly. Eli Lilly has carried out a series of all-hands webcasts optimized for mobile access after the company identified the need to communicate continuously with geographically diverse and on-the-road sales team members. Most of the attendees see the live video webcasts on iPads, the company stated in a press release.

“ON24's mobile product strategy brings our virtual communications solutions to life on the iPad and other mobile devices," explained Jayesh Sahasi, ON24's chief product officer and CTO. "With ON24 MOVE, mobile users can have as rich and immersive an experience as they have come to expect with all of our other products. ON24's solutions are truly optimized for tablets and mobile phones; they aren't just a 're-display' of the desktop version.”

In 2010, TMC (News - Alert) reported that the company announced that a Global Crossing (News - Alert), a provider of IP solutions, has picked the ON24 Virtual Show platform for its virtual trade show.
