Vu Telepresence (News - Alert), a provider of video conferencing technology, announced that users can now access its comprehensive telepresence solution on an $89 month-to-month subscription basis.

With Vu’s ‘Telepresence for Everyone’ at $89 per month offer, companies can now begin enjoying the benefits of increased work productivity, reduced travel costs and faster decision-making, as well as eliminating the need to worry about geographic labor pool restrictions and global business barriers. Vu explained that its VU Telepresence Pro is a complete solution for HD video conferencing, consisting of a codec, PTZ camera (720p or 1080p), microphone and speaker. All users need to provide is any HD TV set and an Internet connection and VU Telepresence Pro does the rest.

The system works on low bandwidth while offering features such as multi-party conferencing, PC screen sharing and collaboration, recording video conferencing, web meetings and many more features for which most vendors supposedly charge an arm and leg.

“We are finding that more and more companies are exploring this option, as it gives them the ability to utilize the technology, but doesn't tie them down into a long term contract or have to make a costly upfront investment.
