The application simplifies LTE radio frequency (RF) service verification and troubleshooting while reducing network management costs.
Smartphones that are enabled with JDSU's LTE RF optimization application allow engineers to perform real-life test scenarios as LTE networks are being trialed and established. Engineers can collect, record, playback and transfer data from network trouble spots discovered while in the field to the operations center for further analysis and resolution. The JDSU smartphone application gives wireless carriers a new, simpler and more cost--effective way to gather critical network performance data needed to ensure a quality end user experience.
The application automates and yields data reflecting performance of voice calls, file transfer uploads, downloads, and browsing. Data is geo-located using the phone's global positioning system or a Bluetooth device.
