IOGEAR Bluetooth Mini Keyboard Comes With Swift Toggling and Data Input for Six Devices

IOGEAR, which is focused on the pursuit of convergence through connectivity, recently announced that its new Multi-Link Bluetooth Mini Keyboard (GKB601B) is a mobile solution that comes with swift toggling and data input for up to six devices. The wireless keyboard can now be used with game consoles, PCs, Macs, Smart Phones, tablets, iPads and other HID profile supported devices that run on Android (News - Alert), or iOS 4.0 and above.

Now that tablets and smart phones are starting to take over more of the mobile computing segment from PCs and Macs, the Multi-Link Bluetooth Mini Keyboard will be a traditional input device that will enable users to overcome some of the challenges of touch screen typing. Many individuals find it challenging because of the wobble caused due to a tablet's curved back or due to the awkward finger placement on a small screen. All this will now be eliminated thanks to the GKB601B keyboard from IOGEAR.

In a release, Bill Nguyen, senior marketing manager for IOGEAR said, "Mobility is a critical function of almost all consumer technology today and people are demanding mobile solutions that are easy to use while making their lives easier. Our new Bluetooth mini keyboard combines mobility and multiple device control freeing people to simultaneously text, update social profiles and be productive in many other ways."

The mini keyboard is extremely compact measuring (9.125 in. x 4.5 in.) and is also extremely lightweight (0.35 lb.). When not being used, the IOGEAR Bluetooth Mini Keyboard can be easily stashed. The Ultra-slim is designed with a gentle arc to ensure comfortable typing angles, it combines minimalism. The GKB601B also comes with hotkey access to My TV, My Videos, My Music, My Pictures, Record TV and DVD Player. The Media Center hotkeys are currently supported only with operating systems that have Microsoft (News - Alert) Windows Media Center.

Long distance travelers and people who are constantly on the go will appreciate the cloth travel pouch IOGEAR provides to protect the GKB601B when not commanding Bluetooth devices. The IOGEAR Multi-Link Bluetooth Mini Keyboard is available for $99.95.
