The success of the Advanced RSM with the Motorola (News - Alert) V860 Barrage phone has encouraged AdvanceTec Industries to extend its reach to phones on the Verizon network, bringing Casio G'zOne Ravine and the Samsung (News - Alert) Convoy Push-To-Talk enabled cellular phones under the purview of the “hands-free option.”
"This expansion of AdvanceTec's (News - Alert) RSM line ensures that customers using the now have the option to improve and amplify the audio while talking hands free," said Gil Ron, Executive Vice President and Head of product engineering at AdvanceTec, in a press release.
AdvanceTec Industries, a communications products manufacturer and solutions provider with a full portfolio of products, has been working on its RSM line and is committed to provide the best solution especially for workers in high noise environments.
The Advanced RSM provides amplified audio in transmission and reception through the remote
speaker/microphone. The internal rechargeable lithium Ion battery that powers the RSM doesn't cause the handset battery to drain. With a standby time of about 21 days or 2-3 days of continuous usage, the RSM is very popular with industry professionals
It also includes an independent control module with a built-in belt clip and also supports an ear piece that could come in handy in a rather noisy environment or when the conversation is private.
Officials claim that the Advanced RSM is ideal for use in manufacturing facilities, construction sites and provides improved audio transmission and excellent reception even in harsh weather conditions.
In related news, AdvanceTec introduced a Universal Remote Speaker Microphone in January 2010.
