Cardo Systems (News - Alert), Inc., an industry leader in the motorcycle helmet communications technology announced that its scala rider G4 PowerSet for Snowmobiles is a winner of this year’s 'Nifty Fifty' Award.
Scala rider G4 PowerSet for Snowmobiles has made the sports of snowmobiling safer by setting new standards in snowmobile intercom communication. Scala rider G4 PowerSet for Snowmobiles provides users with four-way intercom communication capabilities for two snowmobiles each with rider and passenger, or three-way intercom functions that connect up to three separate snowmobilers, Cardo Systems explained in a press release.
Unique to the product is its Click-to-Link capability that allows spontaneous networking on the trail with other snowmobilers.

Cardo corded scala rider Snow G4 Powerset intercom communication system features two industry leading and factory paired corded scala rider G4 Bluetooth headsets in one package. The device provides snowmobile intercom communication up to one mile.
Each headset is A2DP compatible and can stream wireless stereo music from an MP3 device/Ipod and can connect with virtually any portable Bluetooth device including mobile phones for hands-free conversations and GPS units for in-helmet voice instructions. The built-in FM radio keeps the rider entertained for hours on the snowy trails.
The headsets are equipped with corded microphone, so that they can snugly but comfortably fit into tight-fitting full-faced helmets with limited space.
To add to the convenience of the users, the device has been equipped with priority management function that allows users to receive incoming phone calls or in-ear GPS directions without manually disconnecting from the intercom or music.
Built to last in Alaska, the scala rider G4 PowerSet for Snowmobiles has been designed to meet international (IP67) standards for resistance to the water and dust riders may encounter while snowmobiling.
The high-end communication capabilities have earned the product a place in the power sports industry financial and business news publication's showcase of innovative products.

Cardo Systems recently awarded a snowmobile communications system and $300 grant to each of the following Snowmobile Association Clubs: Cherry Creek Sno-Goers (New York), Eastern Ontario Snowmobile Club (Ontario) and Lake Chelan Snowmobile Club (Washington).
