AVI-SPL (News - Alert) recently selected Sennheiser as one of its three exclusive microphone manufacturer suppliers. Under the terms of the deal, Herman Procurement and Logistics, Sennheiser's exclusive U.S. distributor, will be responsible for procurement management.

Sennheiser is a major manufacturer of microphones, headphones and wireless transmission systems. AVI-SPL is a premier provider of audiovisual communications solutions with revenues of over $550 million per year within the market for installed sound.

Customers of both firms, including a number of Fortune 100 companies, entertainment venues, government entities and enterprise customers will benefit from the twin advantages of cost savings and enhanced level of service through the strategic partnership between Sennheiser and AVI-SPL.

The partnership between Herman and Sennheiser began in 2009. Since then, Herman has served as Sennheiser's exclusive distributor within the IS/SI market. The company, a well-known source of connectivity and infrastructure products and services, and is a nationally recognized distributor, enhancing operational efficiencies and cost savings for its customers.
