Jabra (News - Alert) has introduced four new Unified Communication (UC) dedicated headsets to enable companies to benefit from clear communication in a cost-effective manner.

Jabra is doing good in the Indian market and Ralph Ede, managing director – South Asia, Jabra told itvar news that the company is changing from a headset Company to a handsfree communications Company.

Noting the trends in the UC market Ede said that there will be 49.5 million UC users in 2015 and 90% of all companies globally are considering migration to UC.

“Optimization of these investments by adding the voice dimension to the UC experience and attaching headsets that offer superior sound, comfort and build will have a tremendous impact when wanting to ensure the right ROI,” said Ede.

Ede also told itvar news about its huge channel business in India and its plans to add more resellers as it grows in the country.

Users requirements have changed now and more people want to migrate from a traditional desk phone environment. Jabra sees the headset as the single most important factor for successful deployment and adoption of the UC technology and is thus introducing the new devices to this end.

Jabra was in news earlier this year for launching its all-new WIN Partner Program.
