Jabra Unveils Halo2 Bluetooth Stereo Headset

By Rajani Baburajan, TMCnet Contributor

Jabra (News - Alert), a company that is waiting to “cut the wires” of your favorite devices with their innovative range of Bluetooth headsets, announced the launch of the latest Bluetooth stereo headset named HALO2.

Users are becoming more attached to devices. A recent study commissioned by Jabra shows that nearly 90 percent of users regularly use more than one device, indicating the need for a single headset that fits them all.

"After receiving a tremendous response to the launch of HALO in the Middle East, Jabra is now introducing its advanced predecessor, which is set to appeal yet more to consumers in the Middle East," said Ahmed Elkalliny, area director, Middle East and Africa, Mobile Division, in a statement.

HALO2 not only allows you to make calls but also makes your favorite music sound even better. The headset also comes with a detachable cord that allows a direct connection to the music player, if the user wishes so. The headset can also be used to take calls on multiple smartphones or Bluetooth-enabled devices.

With features such as touch screen controls and Virtual Surround Sound, Jabra HALO2 is sure to impress customers, the company thinks. At the core of the Bluetooth headset is the advanced Multipoint technology, which also powered its predecessor Jabra HALO. Multipoint enables users to pair up to two Bluetooth-enabled devices at a time. The Virtual Sound produces a listening experience that mimics a multiple-speaker-sound that seems to come from various directions and Power Bass adds enhanced audio. Power Bass enhances the listening experience. The touch sensor on the side of the headset lets users adjust volume with the swipe of a finger and the ability to skip tracks, play, and pause songs without ever having to touch the phone or Mp3 player.

The headset is also provided with velvet-cushioned ear pieces that provide maximum comfort while wearing. The stereo headset can be upgraded with updates from Jabra as they become available via the USB plug.

In another recent announcement Jabra released Jabra JOURNEY Bluetooth car kit that leverages a voice user interface (VUI) from ‎Rubidium. The Jabra JOURNEY is also the latest product from Rubidium’s long-standing partner, GN Netcom (News - Alert).
