AIRCOM International, an independent provider of network and data management tools and services, announced the launch of the latest management and engineering tool suite, ENTERPRISE 6.2, with advanced features that can address the changing needs of operators.
Important features included in this latest release are the upgraded OPTIMA module, RANOPT module and the ASSET module.
The new OPTIMA module is capable of monitoring both fixed and IP networks – a feature essential for operators investing in converged networks, the company said.
The RANOPT module is enhanced to include functionality to incorporate indoor coverage level measurement, which is ideal for operators who want to roll out 3G femtocell home base stations across their network.
The ASSET module, an integrated financial analysis tool, now supports High-Speed Packet Access Evolved (HSPA+) platforms, aimed at operators looking for a transition to LTE (News - Alert).
Other important components are CONNECT and DATASAFE. CONNECT is the store key performance indicators, which offers75 percent faster parameter selection and viewing. DATASAFE is the live data delta loads with high-performance discrepancy handling and seamless planned imports.
“ENTERPRISE 6.2 delivers a clear and comprehensive breakdown of network performance by aggregating the outputs of radio planning, drive test analysis, performance and management tools,” officials said. The suite’s configuration management capability then allows them to take any remedial action if required.
ENTERPRISE 6.2 allows operators to maximize staff productivity through eradicating the need to input data repeatedly across multiple tools. It is easy to deploy. Users can purchase it as standalone products or as part of the total network planning and optimization suite.
Margaret Rice-Jones, CEO of AIRCOM (News - Alert) International, said, “The thinking behind ENTERPRISE 6.2 is very simple - better visibility of the network, whether in the planning or application stage, promotes improved situation awareness, so that problems can be identified and solved earlier and more efficiently.”
Jones added that the ENTERPRISE 6.2 suite is designed to support operators in every facet of their network planning, now and in the future.
AIRCOM recently announced it has joined the Next Generation Mobile Networks Alliance to contribute to the development of an ecosystem for next generation broadband networks and services and to establish an open platform for innovation in mobile broadband technologies, TMCnet reported.
Under this Alliance, AIRCOM will focus on driving forward the next generation of 4G network technologies such as LTE and WiMAX (News - Alert), officials said.
