Movaic Inc., which focuses on innovative product development, brand building and development consulting, has reportedly entered into an agreement with Pleiades System Designs.

As part of the agreement, Pleiades System Designs will distribute Movaic's popular iZel portable stand for hands-free viewing to retailers throughout Japan. Pleiades System has long been involved in import sales and marketing in that country.

When the popularity of iPhone (News - Alert) and iPod accessories in the Japanese market were at an all time high, iZel chose to make its entry there. The phenomenal success of the recent iPhone debut in Japan, where Apple (News - Alert) has a 50-percent market share, has created a huge demand for iPhone accessories.

In a release, Mikio Motohashi, managing director of Pleiades, said 'Pleiades has a strong history of distributing innovative accessories to iPod and iPhone enthusiasts in Japan. A unique product like the iZel fits well within our product line, and further strengthens our portfolio.'

Since its introduction a year ago, iZel, with its innovative design, has attracted many users of the iPhone. In addition, independent reviewers have also positioned the iZel right at the top. It is very solid and lets you handle phone calls in a hands-free fashion. It's compatible with Blackberry, Zune, and other portable devices.

Planet iPhones recently ranked the iZel 'The Best Overall' in a very detailed review of the top eight stands and iPhone Ness said, 'The iZel is the best iPhone stand, hands down,' when it was compared to 13 competitive stands.
