World Class Team to Develop a New Virtual World Game for enVie Interactive

A new executive team has been announced by enVie Interactive LLC. The development of its new virtual world game, VIE: Virtual Island of Entertainment has been assigned to this executive team. The team members have already worked on some of the biggest franchises in gaming. Guitar Hero, Pac-Man, NASCAR, Tiger Woods, FIFA, NCAA March Madness, 007, Harry Potter and The Godfather are some of them.


In a release, Philo Northrup, President and Co-founder of enVie Interactive said, "We were able to recruit what we consider to be a Class A team in game development and marketing. We saw a need in the marketplace for a game that would appeal to a much broader audience and combines the genres of MMOs, virtual worlds and social games. We have assembled a team with the talent to create something truly ground-breaking."

The executive team for the development of this game includes Philo Northrup; Co-founder Viktor Kalvachev as the Chief Creative Offer; Stacey Hirata as the Vice-President; Steve Coallier as the Executive Director of Product Development and Pratik Patel as the Technical Director.

Philo Northrup was previously the Executive Producer of Business Development for Foundation 9 Entertainment. During his tenure there, the company grew into the largest game developer in North America.

Viktor Kalvachev was previously the COO for Bon Art Studio. At Bon Art Studio, he created award-winning artwork for Pixar, Nickelodeon, Disney, and Warner Brothers.

Stacey Hirata was formerly VP of Marketing and PR for Red Octane/Activision (News - Alert). The Guitar Hero franchise was launched and managed by Stacey at Red Octane/Activision. She also oversaw the entire portfolio of products for Namco, SNK and JVC where she was the Director of Marketing.

Steve Coallier held senior positions on Wing Commander III, Knockout Kings and The Godfather at Electronic Arts Inc. He was the Director of Product Development at this organization.

Pratik Patel supervised the development of Tiger Woods PGA Tour, The Godfather II and The Simpsons Game when he was the Technical Director at Electronic Arts Inc.
