Phree Tech, provider of IT solutions, has announced the commercial availability of the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to HDMI multi monitor video adapter (GOBCV1U) across the North American region. The GOBCV1U has been designed to leverage the functional capabilities enabled by the high-speed transfer rate delivered by USB 3.0 connection, a feature which is common with a majority of the latest releases of computers/motherboards.
The SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to HDMI multi monitor video plug and play adapter provides customers with an easy to use and cost-effective solution enabling the instant addition of a new source of video and audio for their computer. Anytime the PC's video output port is engaged and the user wants to add an additional video source to connect his TV or projector or a monitor, all the user has to do is simply plug in the GOBCV1U into an available USB port. Once the adapter is plugged in, the user can easily extend his screen to a different display. Phree Tech's GOBCV1U adapter offers a HDMI port featuring an integrated stereo audio signal which enables the adapter to function with a DVI equipped display.
In a release, Harold Kendrick, Executive Director at Phree Tech said that “At Phree Tech, we strive to bring the latest technology to our customers. The USB 2.0 video adapter has been a great success because of its flexibility and ease of use, and we know that customers will love our USB 3.0 adapter even more when they see the enhanced video quality.”
The GOBCV1U, which has been made available on Amazon.com (News - Alert) and Amazon.ca, has also been developed to extend backward compatibility with USB 2.0 connection, which allows the adapter to work perfectly even when it is plugged into a USB 2.0 port. Phree Tech's latest offering retails at USD $109.99 within the United States and at CAD $109.99 in Canada and will be made available through other online retailers soon.
