Lenel Factory Certification for VideoIQ's iCVR-HD Line of High-Definition Cameras

VideoIQ is a global provider of innovative video surveillance solutions. The company recently announced that the Lenel factory certification was awarded to its iCVR-HD high definition cameras for their interface to the OnGuard solution from Lenel. The company has already received certifications for their existing iCVR encoder, indoor D1 camera and outdoor D1 camera.

In a release, Gidon Lissai, director of Strategic Alliances at Lenel said, “Joint customers can proactively control, monitor and respond to potential security threats because VideoIQ has validated the functionality of its distributed storage and HD capabilities as they interface with OnGuard. We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.”

VideoIQ is a member of the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program. The company’s iCVR cameras and encoders offer up to half a terabyte of intelligent, onboard NVR storage for several months' worth of recording. VideoIQ removes the need for any external storage NVRs as well as the need to backhaul video to centralized storage, as it provides full onboard NVR storage.

Mark Gally, vice president of Marketing at VideoIQ said, “VideoIQ's iCVR-HD high definition cameras are rapidly gaining industry momentum by providing innovative all-in-one iCVR video surveillance solutions. By integrating our solution with leading open design access control systems, such as Lenel's OnGuard, VideoIQ is helping to deliver on its promise to provide the industry with the most effective access control platform.”

He added, “Our customers can now benefit from VideoIQ's simplified infrastructure, reduced bandwidth requirements, edge storage and intelligent streaming without any customer integration or installation complications.”

By using VideoIQ's innovative, fully self-calibrating, adaptive analytics, threats can be immediately detected, verified and removed with a high level of accuracy, ensuring that all security issues get identified and mitigated before any critical incident takes place.
