Helmet cameras and mountable or wearable cameras are gaining popularity not only in action sports, but also in other sectors such as corporate and government.
In an effort to provide high-capacity memory for these devices, SportHiTech - a supplier of wearable HD video camera technology to the sporting, automotive, corporate, military and government sectors - announced the immediate availability of the new MaxFlash Action Class 10 high-speed, high-capacity SDHC and microSD memory cards designed for all High Definition (HD) wearable action and sports cameras.
According to SportHiTech, its new line of rugged, high-speed, high-capacity memory cards have been specifically engineered for the helmet camera, wearable camera and mountable action camera market, suitable for HD video cameras from all manufacturers.
Available in both 16GB snd 32GB capacities, the MaxFlash Action cards are Class 10 memory cards - the fastest Class of SD and MicroSD cards on the market. These cards are available in both SDHC and microSD formats as well, and can record to full HD 1080p and beyond.
In general, Class 10 memory cards have speed of 10 MB/s, where the Speed Class Rating is the official unit of speed measurement for SD cards and the class number guarantees a minimum write speed as a multiple of 8 Mbit/s (1 MB/s).
One among these new products includes the Maxflash 16GB SDHC Action Class 10 card, which is designed for GoPro (News - Alert) HD camera. Ideal for all Action/Helmet cameras that take SDHC cards, this memory card has been tested in all major camera manufacturers, and it can provide full HD video capability. It is also available in 32GB SDHC and MicroSDH formats.
Another product among the new series includes the MaxFlash Action 32GB microSD Class 10 card. This 32GB high speed Class 10 memory is designed for Contour HD camera, Veho Muvi HD (or anything else that takes microSD cards). It offers similar features as other memory devices among the new series. It is also available in 16GB and 32GB SDHC and MicroSDHC formats.
According to MaxFlash, all its Action memory cards have full 10 year manufacturer warranty.
