iBAHN and Bang & Olufsen Bring Entertainment System to Hotels

iBAHN, one of the leaders in Internet Protocol-based (IP-based) systems and networking for the hospitality industry, has partnered with Bang & Olufsen, a company specializing in audio and video. This new partnership will enable both companies to offer a full digital entertainment and broadband package to the hospitality market.

Bang & Olufsen has been known worldwide for its audio and video entertainment solutions for hotels and home integration, which makes for some of the most entertaining five-star experiences. Bang & Olufsen's products have now become some of the best client magnets for hotels large and small.

iBAHN now offers iMEDIA, an IP-based entertainment system specifically tailored for hotels, thanks to Bang & Olufsen's contribution that offers a parallel product compatible with all of iBAHN's digital services. Now, iBAHN's new iMEDIA offer can be controlled by Bang & Olufsen's remote controls, known as Beo4 and Beo6.

iBAHN is now able to provide hotels with its products and services directly under the control of Bang & Olufsen's remotes, making it possible to integrate compatible systems on the fly without having to call on both companies. The controllers can also be configured to integrate into any hotel room's digital system, making it simpler on the guest and the host.

One hotel has already installed iBAHN's new solution - 45 Park Lane, a hotel that belongs to Dorchester Collection in London. The hotel's opening date was on September last year. Now, people staying at the hotel can use iBAHN and Bang & Olufsen's iMEDIA product to receive broadband services, digital TV service, and high-quality picture in some of Bang & Olufsen's best widescreen digital screens. The product will allow the hotel to bill guests for entertainment services, increasing their revenue, and give the guest the most for their money with an easy-to-use system that offers top-notch entertainment at the touch of a button.
