AdColony, a video ad network, will now be able to connect to the major brands and publishing partners of Horizon Media to engage customers with relevant, strategically positioned HD video ads across multiple devices especially the fast growing mobile and tablet platforms. This was made possible through a tactical agreement signed between the two companies.
By acquiring the ability to deliver targeted video advertising across mobile channels one can establish a stronghold in the mobile market as mobile devices and tablets are fast evolving into the intersection of broadcast and online creative executions and strategies.
Created by developers for developers, AdColony asserted that it makes it easy to integrate Instant-Play HD video advertisements anywhere within one’s mobile application and provides in-depth app analytics and campaign metrics reporting.
The agreement calls for AdColony to provide Horizon Media with Instant-Play technology along with strategies for mobile video advertising and advanced access to emerging mobile video technologies.
Horizon Media stated that its objective is to create the most meaningful brand connections within the lives of people everywhere and from AdColony it is hoping to receive an effective method of leveraging mobile video in its client campaigns which are an increasingly important and relevant vehicle for creating connections with its consumers.
Horizon Media will also attain the necessary capabilities to provide its clients with access to sought-after mobile customers and demonstrate high-impact creative video over the AdColony HD mobile video ad network, which supposedly reaches millions of mobile devices and generates higher click-through rates for advertising campaigns and was the first mobile network to charge advertisers just for completed video views.
“We are thrilled to be working so closely with Horizon Media and look forward to bringing our expertise to their clients in 2012. Our success with Horizon’s clients up to this point is just a preview of what we can accomplish together in the future,” remarked Will Kassoy, CEO of AdColony, in a press release.
