DV Signage Rolls Out MessageBox Digital Signage Solution

A report entitled “Global Digital Signage Market and its Applications (2011-2016)“ had reported that the global digital signage market could generate $3.95 billion in 2011 and $13.2 billion by 2016; at a CAGR of 27.29 percent from 2011 to 2016.

Cashing in on this trend, DV Signage – a supplier of robust, reliable and easy-to-use systems – has unveiled a new low-cost, easy-to-deploy digital signage solution, called as MessageBox.

According to DV Signage, the new MessageBox is a quick and easy solution for digital notice boards, digital menu boards and simple signage applications. In other words, it is ideal for welcome screens, lobbies, schools, restaurants and concierge applications.

Incorporating a small solid state media player and an intuitive software program in a single package, the new MessageBox can turn any existing TV into a digital sign or digital noticeboard. The intuitive software program is free-to-download software pre-configured with templates that provide a simple three step process to get messages on screen.

Precisely, the MessageBox solution allows a user to plug its media player into an existing display, television or projector. Then, the user is required to download the free software onto a local PC or MAC; and then pick the template, type the message and just publish it over the network.

Joining a line of digital signage ‘box’ solutions from DV Signage, the MessageBox can also act as a dedicated all-in-one system by combining with the company’s MessageBox Displays.

The MessageBox Displays comes with a media player and a commercial grade LCD screen, which are all combined into one integrated, cable-free package.

Officials with the company said that DV Signage offers a small and lightweight 15” MessageBox display solution for counter-top applications. And, for wall mount applications, there are a range of display options from 21 inch to 46 inch.

Apart from MessageBox, DV Signage also provides a similar solution called as SignBox, which is a multi-zone signage solution that provides a selection of adaptable templates and flexible user functionality for full signage applications.

Another similar solution offered by DV Signage include AdBox, which is a low cost solid state solution providing ultra-reliable playback of full screen HD video for digital poster and digital advertising applications.
