Signbox Microsystems Appoints Stuart Lakin as Business Development Head

Signbox Microsystems Ltd Pte has named Stuart Lakin as the company’s Director of Business Development, as it extends its executive team. Signbox Microsystems’ strong expansion plans will focus on pushing the company’s innovative digital signage products and this project will be spearheaded by Lakin and his team.

The company plans to unveil ground-breaking products similar to the newly launched signEye system for audience measurement and dynamic content management in 2012 with Lakin’s assistance. Apart from reinforcing the executive team, Lakin’s appointment will help Signbox Microsystems drive its expansion plans, improve overall sales, and hasten the launch of new products.

Prior to joining Signbox Microsystems, Lakin has worked with Singapore-based Boston Direct Management as a business development executive. Lakin has also worked at Accenture (News - Alert) in the role of a strategy consultant. While working with London-based Red Bull, Lakin has become familiar with ground-breaking marketing strategies.

At Signbox Microsystems, Lakin will be mainly responsible for the development and marketing of innovative products similar to the signEye audience measurement solution. The demographic uniqueness of individuals viewing a digital sign, are verified by the advanced facial recognition algorithms incorporated by signEye, thereby letting the displayed information to change according to the audience.

Lakin has completed his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Economics from University of Nottingham, UK. Lakin will now operate from the company’s headquarters located in Singapore.
