Telestream has announced solutions targeted at broadcast, post-production, cable IPTV (News
- Alert), and Internet OTT workflows.
The company is set to feature a full line-up of products and solutions in Booth SL1405 at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) 2012 convention in Las Vegas April 16-19.
Telestream is a provider of video transcoding and workflow automation solutions. The company offers a wide range of video transcoding software products and will demonstrate its Vantage, Agility, FlipFactory and Episode transcoding solutions at NAB.
Designed to address specific workflow needs Vantage video transcoding and workflow automation products handle the complexities of automated transcoding, metadata management, standards conversion, video processing, media analysis, device interoperability, and delivery. Elaborating on its products, the company says that integrations between Telestream’s Vantage and Agility 2G products bring the best of both worlds to media and entertainment companies.
Agility 2G customers leverage Vantage LCS to access and control Vantage from within existing Agility 2G installations.
Telestream’s Episode products can scale from desktop applications to very fast, powerful distributed encoding clusters for post-production and new media environments. Telestream is also set to launch it new Pipeline Replay system at NAB. This multichannel video player combines with Pipeline HD systems to provide video capture and instant, synchronous playback of multiple high-definition camera feeds.
Other products to be showcased at NBA are Telestream’s video streaming software products Wirecast and Wirecast Pro.

Telestream was in news last year for launching Episode 6.2 multiformat video encoding software. New and improved API features expand Episode integration and control capabilities with third-party systems. The free version 6.2 update adds high-end ProRes 4:4:4:4 and AVC-Intra format support for professional workflows.
