Glu Mobile Inc., a global publisher of mobile games, will deliver titles to Xbox LIVE on Windows Phone (News - Alert) 7.

The company joins the list of selected partners' games to be on Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 platform.

"To be chosen to be part of the Launch Wave for the WP7 platform is incredible," said Adam Flanders, general manager of Glu, in a statement. "We are excited to bring our simply addictive mobile games to Microsoft (News - Alert) devices.”

He said that the company can deliver an authentic experience in a new era of gaming by reaching a vast audience of mobile gamers around the world with these new devices.

Its portfolio of top-rated games includes original titles Beat It!, Bonsai Blast, Brain Genius, Glyder, Jump O'Clock, Stranded, Super K.O. Boxing! and titles based on major brands from partners including Activision (News - Alert), Atari, Fox Mobile Entertainment, Harrah's, Hasbro, Konami, Microsoft, PlayFirst, SEGA, Sony and Warner Bros.

Back in July, Glu announced the launch of Build-a-lot 2: Town of the Year on the App Store for iPhone (News - Alert) and iPod touch.

In the sequel to Build-a-lot, an online game by HipSoft, players must combine strategy and time management to build their way to the top and become a real estate market mogul.
