MeLLmo Releases Mobile Business App Roambi ES3 v3.1

Facilitating quick analysis and smart decision-making -- anytime, anywhere -- MeLLmo has introduced Roambi ES3 v3.1, the latest version of its mobile business application.

Roambi ES3 is secure, on-premise server software that expands the business intelligence solution into a cutting-edge mobile reporting system. It quickly transforms the client’s business reports and data from SAP (News - Alert), IBM, Microsoft and Oracle BI systems

Roambi ES3 v3.1 now connects to the BI systems from the four major vendors – SAP, IBM, Oracle and Microsoft (News - Alert) and is available immediately. Apart from the integration with the Oracle Hyperion portal, it also includes integration with cube layer data including Oracle (News - Alert) Essbase and Microsoft Analysis Services. Roambi ES3 v3.1 also adds two new interactive analytics designed specifically for the enterprise; Roambi Blink and Roambi Elements.

“As Roambi continues to gain momentum in the enterprise, we incorporate our customers’ feedback and offer enhanced features that best suit the needs of their businesses,” said Santiago Becerra, chairman and co-founder of MeLLmo, Inc. “Roambi ES3 v3.1 provides new capabilities -- including expanded connectivity, enterprise-focused Views and video-out display -- that improve our users’ experience and ensure on-the-go workers have access to up-to-the-minute reports that provide insight into their business data.”

Users can connect to Oracle Essbase, transforming data into visual, interactive and secure mobile analytics, with Roambi ES3 v3.1. They can transform Excel spreadsheets into Roambi visual analytics and store them back in the portal with Roambi ES3 v3.1 and Oracle Hyperion Workspace. Roambi ES3 v3.1 enables users to connect directly to Microsoft Analysis Services and generate dynamic visualizations from raw data.

Recently, the company raised $10 million in third-round funding. The company did not identify which “private investors” took part in the funding. In total, since its founding in January 2008, MeLLmo has raised $20 million in funding. The company will use the money for expenses associated with Roambi, a mobile business visual analytics application for “on-the-go analysis and decision-making,” the company has announced in a press release.
