Cirtex Corp.'s Webmaster Tools App Now Available on Extended Platforms

The way users are interacting with the Web and the Internet -enabled devices has undergone a seismic shift in recent years. This has prompted Web hosting companies like Cirtex Corp., to provide Webmaster tools that can explore the broad functionality of Web sites.


Cirtex Corp., parent company of hosting leaders CirtexHosting, HostV, a division of Cirtex that provides expertise in VPS and dedicated hosting solutions. It has been bringing Professional, affordable and Quality Web hosting to users all around the globe offering everything larger companies do and even more, but for only a fraction of the cost.

John Xie, president of Citrex Corp. declared that Internet-enabled devices were fast becoming the new median in managing and maintaining Web sites, and this was the right time to dive into the mobile world and provide customers with Webmaster tools. The feedback so far had been very positive.

By extending the new Cirtex Webmaster Tools application to the iPhone (News - Alert), iPod touch, and iPad platforms, Webmasters worldwide are now provided with core Web site management functionality on their mobile devices.

The apple iTunes store offers this new application free of cost. It provides more support resources for mobile devices. It allows users to perform a wide variety of tests and checks with domain WHOIS lookups and DNS and Reverse DNS lookups. In addition, ping and latency checks, and Tracer searches can also be carried out enabling users to make precise and specific searches on domain name related data together with Alexa rankings and DMOZ listings.

Current customers can directly access the billing center by use of application enabling them to pay their hosting bill and manage their accounts. Interaction with other hosting users is now easier than before and users can contact support staff and also access a community form, where a host of problems are discussed.

In related news, CirtexHosting has added Cloud Linux on all its hosting offerings to help deliver increased stability and improve server performance. CirtexHosting says that it selected CloudLinux for its new Lightweight Virtual Environment “LVE” technology, which is expected to deliver substantial performance improvements to its hosting infrastructure.
