DataMotion, a provider of secure e-mail encryption solutions, announced that its flagship product, SecureMail, now offers native integration for all popular mobile devices including iPad, iPhone (News - Alert), Android, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile.
SecureMail leverages a mobile device's existing e-mail client. It doesn’t require an application or web browser access. These features make it extremely functional and easy to use.
With SecureMail on a mobile device, users can send and receive secure messages in plain text or HTML, just as they would on a desktop or laptop. The procedure is simple and easy to understand.
The solution allows administrators to view all logged activity, from all devices, for all employees through one unified report. It offers user file attachments up to 100 MB per message. This highly scalable solution also provides military grade encryption.
“As smartphones and tablets such as Apple's (News
- Alert) iPad gain continued acceptance in the workplace, it is critical to ensure that sensitive email can be encrypted on these devices,” said Bob Janacek, CTO, DataMotion, in a statement.
“We offer users a seamless experience, so sending and receiving secure messages is very easy to do, and keeps users in compliance with privacy regulations,” Janacek added.
SecureMail with mobile integration is available free of charge to all current SecureMail customers. New licenses for SecureMail start at $99 per seat with volume discounts available, company officials said.
According to Anthony J. Patti, senior vice president/CFO/treasurer, Reading Co-operative Bank, a customer of SecureMail, the solution’s support for mobile devices like the iPad helps them be assured that all messages sent outside of the office containing confidential data will be sent securely.
In a related development, DataMotion announced a partnership with GreenAppX (News - Alert), a cloud services broker, in order to distribute DataMotion SecureMail through GreenAppX partners.
