FeedHenry Introduces New Enterprise Mobility Solution

FeedHenry (News - Alert) is allowing developers to build HTML5, JavaScript and hybrid apps with a fully integrated Node.js backend-as-a-service.

The company has announced the launch of a new enterprise mobility solution to this end.

FeedHenry was also in the news as one of only 35 companies selected to compete in the Node Summit's NodeJam, January 24-25, 2012 in San Francisco.

FeedHenry’s first commercially available mobile app platform-as-a-service allows developers to use the same JavaScript skills to build a mobile app client and powerful backend functionality that taps the non-blocking, event-driven I/O architecture of Node.js.

Developers can increase their efficiency and speed app development by building in one code base. They can also cut the costs of deploying apps for multiple mobile platforms through this base.

FeedHenry further notes that it allows developers to build highly complex and visually stunning mobile apps through its FeedHenry studio.

HTML5 and JavaScript are used to create new mobile apps that run as native apps on all major smartphones and tablet devices.

Also, developers can use any of the standard FeedHenry APIs for integration, caching, storage, or encryption and can choose to include other third party JavaScript libraries.

FeedHenry has been in news for various right reasons including being named as one of the winners in Yankee Group's (News - Alert) "2012 Mobility Predictions: A Year of Living Dangerously."

The company’s enterprise development platform was also listed as a winner alongside Antenna Systems, Pyxis and Salesforce.com's (News - Alert) Heroku in the category "HTML5 Will Cross the Enterprise Tipping Point."
