In an effort to provide companies with affordable unified communications services in a flexible, location-independent way, ANDTEK GmbH, a provider of custom-made unified communications applications, has started offering unified communications services as cloud applications.
With the help of cloud applications, companies can use unified communications services in a flexible, location independent way, immediately and as required at calculable costs -- without the need for new infrastructure or IT competence.
According to ANDTEK, its cloud applications concern unified communications software of the existing product range such as manager/assistant services, integration of complete corporate databases, as well as contact search within corporate and address databases.
Officials with ANDTEK said in a press release that the above functionalities are now offered in virtualized corporate environments and are also supported for private corporate clouds.
ANDTEK realizes its cloud applications as “private clouds,” wherein both supplier and user are within the same company. With such functionality, any problems relevant to confidentiality will be avoided. In addition, the entire communication process is encrypted as well as additionally protected via access.
Officials with ANDTEK said in the release that the company’s service facilitates companies with opportunity to offer unified communications services as Software as a Service (SaaS (News
- Alert)) and thus use existing cloud services.
In addition, the company’s platform independent architecture provides a fast and straightforward integration into different cloud environments.
Furthermore, the company also develops so-called dashboards as new cloud services, which includes functionalities like call statistics, status of all phones within the company, detailed information about the caller, and more. Majority of dashboards do without manufacturer-specific interfaces and are therefore independent from cloud suppliers in the future.According to ANDTEK GmbH, solutions developed and implemented by the company support companies of all areas of business to improve communication processes and open up innovative possibilities to use the IP telephony such as voice recording, presence services or security applications.
