Environmental Building Strategies Migrates to Office 365 as Green Approach to IT Management

Environmental Building Strategies (EBS) based in San Francisco’s SoMa district has migrated to Microsoft (News - Alert) Office 365.

EBS is committed to developing sustainable strategies for building and operation for clients across the U.S. It was aware of the fact that cloud computing strategy helps in the overall reduction of carbon trail of the company by the removal of servers, network equipment, and cooling systems required for desktop systems.

The cloud-based Office 365 is a recent release from Microsoft. EBS considered it to be the most favorable chance to migrate their internal MS Office suite to Office 365. To assist them with the migration, they contacted Help4Access, a trusted provider of custom software and cloud services. In a release, Sasha Froyland, founder and CEO of Help4Access, said, “The most famous business productivity and collaboration tools of the world are brought out by Office 365. With appropriate layers of security, reliability, and compliance, it delivers a cost-effective subscription service to them. And for the green approach to IT management and operations, the cloud-based system of Office 365 is the best solution.” Migration to Office 365 provided significant return on investment (ROI) by the reduction of license costs and IT demands for EBS, which has offices across San Francisco, LA, New York and Colorado.  Froyland added, “Migration to Office 365 helps customers leverage and understand the product, besides the simplification of the transition process and reduction of risk at EBS.”

Companies must understand the capabilities of the applications of Office 365, in order to help them reassess their overall workflow and identify new opportunities for enhancements. A custom database provided by the migration services from Help4Access automates and streamlines back-office tasks thus reducing operational costs.

Froyland said,  “Along with the powerful new features of Office 365, companies can implement new and streamlined processes quickly by our database platform. For EBS, as the IT and back-office processes became more efficient, it helped further in the reduction in operational costs, greater productivity, and lower carbon trail.” As a part of the Migration Services, Office 365 will be offered at a discounted price to customers for a limited duration by Help4Access.
