FVC to Participate in Algeria's MED IT show

Focusing on high-definition videoconferencing and unified communications solutions, FVC has announced that the company will be participating in the upcoming Med-IT exhibition and conference. The company plans showcase the environmentally friendly benefits of its products at the conference.


The company will display VoIP solutions integrated with Digium Asterisk along with Polycom (News - Alert) video conferencing products at the event. Using a customized Polycom high definition Telepresence solution, FVC will also demonstrate a live videoconferencing link between its booth and the Algeria Telecom Booth. FVC are also the technical sponsors of a round table on 12 May 2010, entitled, "Green IT, the challenge for the environment."

FVC rovides solutions for Rich Media as well as Networking and Security Solutions in the Middle East and North Africa. The company provides solutions including Polycom Video Conferencing and Audio Conferencing, as well as leading brands in Video Streaming, Network Security, Application Traffic Management, and emerging 3G Technologies.

Ronald Hajj, General Manager, FVC Levant, said, "Algeria as a region is investing in new technology and we understand that professionals need to manage their budgets and communications effectively. We want to show our partners and customers the advantages of Polycom's solutions and how they can reduce travel and budgets while increasing productivity, collaboration and efficiency."

At the event, FVC will demonstrate the environmental benefits of rich media. The round table hopes to helps companies maintain a balance between its needs for travel and the impact on the environment. Apart from hosting a workshop entitled, "Optimizing the performance and security of the Data Center," the company will also present a session on "Videoconferencing, Future Technology."

Recently, the company won the Best Value Added Distributor of the Year award at the 2010 Channel Middle East Awards. FVC was recognised as the Best Value Added Distributor in the Middle East for its contribution to the growth in the region and its commitment to its partners across Middle East & North Africa, its focus and expansion of providing value proposition to the region's enterprises.
