Technology upgrades such as hosted interactive voice response (IVR) is one of several technology segments currently driving the contact center systems market in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), according to a recent study.

If we had to name two call center technologies that are despised by consumers, the first on the list would probably be the dialer: those solutions that enabled outbound robo-calls that drive the public crazy. Integrated Voice Solutions (IVS) and Voxeo have completed the migration of Zenith American Solutions' IVR system to an open standards-based platform. The companies moved their IVR system in the hopes of reducing costs, while providing a higher level of service to its customers.

Ooma joined the field of service providers offering small businesses hosted voice service. Announcing Ooma Office at International CES 2013 is one of a couple indicators that the privately-held company is doing well and is growing at a steady pace.



Integrated Voice Solutions (IVS) and Voxeo have teamed on migrating Zenith American Solutions' IVR system to a newer, more robust open standards-based platform. This migration is achieved in 30 percent less time and at a cost that is significantly lower than that required to rewrite Zenith's existing IVR applications.
