Addnode recently announced the acquisition of Voice Provider Sweden. With this new acquisition, the company’s subsidiary Mogul will now be able to further consolidate its customer communication business (UC) via improved language technology and solutions supporting automated customer dialogue.
Addnode is a provider of IT solutions in the Nordic region, while Mogul specializes in digital solutions for Web, e-commerce, and intranet industries. In a release, Urban Näsman, CEO of Mogul, said that, “Mogul is one of the largest companies in the business of digital solutions for web, e-commerce, and Intranet. The acquisition means that we can provide communication solutions to customers in both the private and public sectors regardless of whether the communication is via phone, email, web, smart phones, tablets, or social media.”
Voice Provider specializes in self-service solutions for enterprise customers with large contact volumes and compliance-based standards for ensuring quality of customer dialogue. The company specifically focuses on customer service and channel strategies, language technology, as well as dialogue design and system development within the Nordic market.
Bengt Persson, CEO of Voice Provider, said, “This is strategically right for the company, our employees, and most of all for our customers. This gives us the opportunity to continue to progress and become even better at what we do best today. Along with the Mogul, we can give customers access to a broader product and service offering.”
Voice Provider will function as a part of the content management division of Addnode and will be a sister company to Mogul as of July 2012. The acquisition will improve the contribution to earnings per share on an annual basis. Clients of Voice Provider include Viasat, Comhem, DSB, Svenska Spel, Ikea, DNB, ATG (News - Alert), Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket) and Posten.
