PCI (News - Alert) compliance is forcing businesses, companies and governments to change the way they take credit card payments on the telephone. Datatel is a company that helps them in solving this problem. Now, customers can pay bills, fees and contributions on the telephone 24/7 in a safe environment. As a cloud solution there is no investment in hardware or software. Ready-to-go templates created for a variety of business applications and industries makes implementation quick and simple.
Recently, the company announced increased number of templates for IVR Credit Card payments. The company serves industries such as direct sales, insurance, utilities, government services, parking, health care and education, among others.
The service offered by the company includes various configuration options and real-time back end integration with business systems out of the box. Decreasing implementation costs and accelerating time to market, clients can use their existing credit card merchant and bank accounts.
The solution from the company is connected to all important Processors and Acquirers in the United States and Canada. It allows users to process payments using their existing merchant account relationships, the company stated in a statement.
“We are excited to be able to add new out-of-the-box templates to our IVR Payment in the cloud service. Our client experience a significant reduction in costs and headaches typically associated with implementing IVR payment applications” said Barnard Crespi co-CEO of Datatel.
Recently, the company announced IVR e-check and ACH Payments-as-a-Service. The company provides Telephone IVR Credit Card and IVR ACH Payments in the cloud, which has the feature to get rid of the collection and transmission of customer credit card and banking information away from live agents and in-house systems. This feature is important for achieving PCI compliance by enterprises.
