Ifbyphone (News - Alert), a voice-based marketing automation solution provider, has been selected as one of the finalists for the prestigious 2012 Chicago Innovation Awards. In its 11th year, The Chicago Innovation Awards is dedicated to honoring the most innovative new products or services brought to market or to public service from a specific region.
Seventy-four others, shortlisted from a list of 400 companies belonging to the business districts in Chicago and surrounding regions, are vying for the top honor.
Ifbyphone’s voice-based marketing solution, Interact has been designed to automate the marketing process through various phases. This voice-based marketing automation platform equips the marketers with a single tool to manage, measure and automate their phone leads. Ifbyphone Interact enables marketers to know precisely where every phone lead comes from, route it efficiently and facilitate the highest chance to close the sale. This helps eliminate the guess work from the marketing plans, the company explained in a press release.
Based on a SaaS (News

Companies of all sizes and across all industries use the Ifbyphone platform, including direct response, healthcare, real estate, home services, and a variety of marketing applications to drive sales and improve customer interactions.
“Ifbyphone Interact lets companies boost the impact of their campaigns by making decisions based on the complete set of marketing data, including phone calls and other offline leads. We consider being named a Chicago Innovation Award finalist a testament to our ongoing success in creating innovative solutions to solve marketers everyday challenges,” CEO and CTO of Ifbyphone, Irv Shapiro (News - Alert) noted in a statement.
This year, 13 judges, representing a range of Chicago’s business community, will be involved in an exhaustive and complex judging process to select the final 10 winners of the Chicago Innovation Awards as well as 10 Up & Comer award winners for smaller organizations still in the start-up phases of their innovations. In addition, each of the 75 finalists is automatically in the running for the annual People’s Choice Award, selected through online balloting.
“The most important message of the Chicago Innovation Awards is one of confidence and courage. The economy is challenging but each nominee believes the simple truth that a powerful new product or service will find a rewarding market and has the courage to pursue their vision,” co-founder with Chicago journalist, Dan Miller (News - Alert) Thomas D. Kuczmarski explained in a statement.
