Chat Mobility and NorthwestCell Select Interop Wireless Offerings

Interop (News - Alert) Technologies will be offering its portfolio of wireless offerings to Chat Mobility and NorthwestCell. Wireless services at both these regional operators will now be supported by Interop’s wireless solutions, including Multimedia Messaging Service Center, WAP Gateway, CSC (News - Alert) Gateway, and Over-the-Air (OTA) device provisioning platform, with an incorporated Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.
Chat Mobility offers a range of telecommunication services to customers in southwest and south central Iowa. The operator, located in Emerson (News
- Alert), Iowa, also offers national wireless plans.
NorthwestCell, based in Maryville, Missouri, offers telecommunications services including national wireless plans to customers across the five-county region in Missouri.
Both operators aim to match the services offered by national providers by implementing Interop’s hosted solutions. Using these solutions, regional operators will be able to decrease initial investments related to the introduction of innovative services.

Huge amounts of multimedia messages can be supported by the Interop MMS solution in an economically viable manner. Sending messages comprising of text with photos, audio and video can therefore be promoted by Chat Mobility and NorthwestCell. A powerful and successful marketing campaign can be undertaken by the operators by using Interop’s WAP deck.
The Interop OTA-IVR system can be used by operators for offering subscribers a completely computerized, precise mobile device activation and configuration – available all day and night.
According to Roger Bundridge, general manager at NorthwestCell, the organization will use Interop’s technology solutions to provide the finest mobile offerings to the subscribers at an affordable price.
