All subscribers of Warid throughout Uganda can access the Voice SMS service on any type of mobile device. Unlike texting, subscribers can now express their emotions in an improved manner.
In a statement, Sriram Yarlagadda, CEO of Warid Uganda said, "We have always believed in Kirusa's capabilities to innovate and simplify telecommunications by way of adding value to our services. The convenient Voice SMS is increasingly being preferred by mobile subscribers across the globe. Currently, a minimum of 30 mobile carriers across four continents have already implemented platforms from Kirusa. These platforms process a minimum of one billion calls each month.
